Tungsten Carbide Alloy Steel Corrugating Rolls Used on A Flute Corrugator
Application:
Corrugating roll is one of the most important components in corrugated carton production. Usually, it is an essential part of single facer. Corrugating rolls consist of two parts: upper roll and lower roll. The lower corrugating roll is the driving roll, which is generally fixed while the upper one is the driven roll.
Tungsten carbide corrugating roll is the most important part of single facer and it’s a essential part for corrugated cardboard or carton manufacturers. We apply JP8000 HVOF technology which is imported from American Praxair. High hardness, strong binding force, good abradability and excellent performance of polishing can prolong the service lifetime.
Rigorous for Precise Grinding
After heat treatment and the cutting slots, the roller shall be put on high precision automatic CNC grinding machine to do finish grinding.

Durable from Supersonic Tungsten Carbide Spraying
Most advanced Praxair JP 8000 HVOF tungsten carbide spraying equipment and technology is adopted and Praxair 1342 super hard tungsten carbide powder is used for our corrugating roll. Before tungsten carbide spraying, we do sand blasting treatment on the surface which make rough surface to increase adhesion of tungsten carbide powder.

Repeatedly Polished, Smooth As a Mirror
The coating is polished by diamond dies which forms a smooth anti-friction surface with a low coefficient of friction.
Longer lifespan
Higher production speed
Better runability
Lower production costs
Higher board strength
+ highest possible board quality over the whole lifetime due to the minimisation of the tension factor.
+ less fluting paper consumption due to reduction of the take up factor
+ Increase of board strength by up to 10 % especially on coarse flutes
