Good raw material is an important factor in high quality of corrugating roll. With high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious temper brittleness, 50CrMo alloy steel is specialized material for manufacturing corrugating rolls. Our raw material shell thickness is more than 70mm, the thicker shell can reduce deformation and keep stability during production.
The uneven of raw material of corrugating roll leads to the uneven of inner heat transfer, of expansion while working, and distortion.This will cause poor formation of fluting paper which resulting in collapsed flute.

Storing well of the corrugated rollers can extend the service life and avoid " Banana Shape".
1. Store in dry places.The surface of corrugating rolls is not compact structure. The permeation and corrosion of water and steam will cause unusual falling off of coating.
2. Apply silicon oil. The silicon oil is valid for 3 months. If you don’t use corrugating rolls for a long time, silicon oil must be applied to the rolls regularly to avoid unusual falling off of coatings caused by the permeation and corrosion of water and steam.
3. Keep the surface clean. If you put the corrugating rolls in the warehouse, the surface should be cleaned and applied silicon for later use.
